Incumbents Victorious

STACY MUNGO emerged victorious in the 5th Council District on Tuesday by defeating Rich Dines, 53.97 percent versus 46.03 percent. Similar percentages were posted in the 7th Council District with Roberto Uranga out polling Jared Milrad. Measure M was passed by similar percentages – 53.11 versus 46.89. Total votes cast in Long Beach were 18,329 or 15.74 percent of 116,437 registered voters. Poll voting was 81.8 percent versus 18.2 percent voting by mail.
